Reservation Terms & Conditions

The Hotel room reservation is available on line: Book your group rate for ELGI 2023 AGM Amsterdam.

The hotel rooms are reserved from 14.00 hours upon arrival until 12.00 hours on the day of departure.

The Marriott Hotel offers this special room rate including breakfast and VAT for ELGI delegates provided that your reservation is made via the above link prior to the cut-off date to 15th February 2023. After this date, any additional new bookings will be subject to availability.

Rooms are guaranteed with a valid credit card. Delegates must settle their own hotel bills and expenses on departure.

Guaranteed extras: The Hotel will request a credit card upon arrival as a guarantee for extra expenses & incidentals during your stay.

Hotel Cancellation Policy: Room cancellation policy is in line with the terms and conditions of the Marriott Hotel.

The ELGI is not responsible for any individual cancellation or any final individual “extra” charges.

It is essential that registrations and payments in (€) Euros are sent to the ELGI no later than 1st March 2023 Payments after this date will be charged the higher rate. The registration fee (€) per delegate includes

  • Sunday: Welcome Reception
  • Monday: Coffee Breaks; Lunch
  • Monday: Gala Dinner & Entertainment & transfers
  • Tuesday: Coffee Break, Grab & Go Lunch

The Partner attendance fee is independent of the partner tour.

The Fees for tour(s) to SKF facilities (Houten) & Tata Steel (Ijmuiden) are independent of the attendance fee. NB!! You can register for 1 tour only as both tours run at the same time

ELGI Registration Cancellation Policy

Cancellations up to 2 weeks prior to the AGM up to 70% administration costs.

Meet colleagues in the industry from more than 32 different countries in strategic areas of the conference. Reserve your table top space to advertise your company. The “Studios” at the Marriott Hotel will be available for our Table Top Displays and for coffee breaks. We have limited space in this area, so do book on time. The Hotel is conveniently situated in the centre of Amsterdam, e.g. Rijksmuseum; Van Gogh Museum are within 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel, and the entrance to Vondel Park within 1 minute walk.

Airport

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is ± 25 minutes to the Marriott Hotel by taxi depending on traffic Estimated fee ±50€ by taxi.

Return to Schiphol: you can call Amsterdam Taxi Central and obtain a set rate from the Hotel to Schiphol. Check details at the ELGI registration desk.

Public Transport from Schiphol to the Hotel

If you do not have a great deal of luggage

  • Bus 397 just outside departure hall, Lane B17 stops on the Leidse Plein, 3 minutes’ walk to the Marriott Hotel.
  • Train from the Airport to Amsterdam Central Station & from there the tram number 2 or 12 stops on the Leidse Plein, 2 minutes’ walk to the hotel.
  • When you alight, just follow the direction of the Tram & you will see the Marriott Hotel.
  • Look out for cyclists!
